The Palatine High School Pirate Booster Club exists to support and enrich the high school experience for our children while they attend Palatine High School. The ways in which we accomplish this task, are many. Through various fundraising efforts each year, we financially contribute to a wide variety of academic and extra-curricular programs and services that directly impact all students. We also support those programs and services by volunteering at various events throughout the school year. In addition, we award scholarships to graduating seniors each year who personify our mission to strengthen the Palatine High School community, as well as the Palatine community at-large. So consider joining us, whether it is through volunteering your time or graciously accepted monetary donations.   • PHS Booster Club 2017-18 Scholarship Application is NOW AVAILABLE


    PHS Booster Club 2017-18 Scholarships

    The PHS Pirate Booster Club will soon be accepting applications for its 44th Annual Scholarship Program. These scholarships will be awarded to deserving members of the Palatine High School graduating class of 2018 wishing to further their education. Up to 13 graduating seniors may receive a $1,000 scholarship. Twelve of these scholarships are named in honor of Fred Zajonc. Mr. Zajonc was a community leader, a village trustee, and a long time member and past president of the Booster Club who worked tirelessly to generate parent and community support of Palatine High School. The additional scholarship, the “Charlotte M. and Robert C. Donahue Millennium Scholarship” was donated by PHS alumni, Andy and Patrick Donahue, in honor of their parents, the late Charlotte and Robert Donahue.

    Applicant Requirements
    Must be attending a 4 year college/university, 2 year community college or a certified trade/vocational school.
    Minimum 2.0 GPA. If applicant has less than a 2.0 average, but has extenuating circumstances, please submit completed application along with a separate typed statement of explanation.

    Selection Criteria
    The scholarship committee is looking for students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, academic excellence, service and volunteerism at Palatine High School and in the community.
